Changelog

What shipped, and when

Every user-visible change to the Monetzly SDK, product and site, newest first. Breaking changes are called out explicitly; anything affecting a live integration also goes out to the developers using it.

For current service state see status, and for how to integrate see the docs.

Docs, blog and company pages

Everything the footer pointed at now exists as a real page, and the SDK integration is documented against the shipped API.

  • Added
    Developer docs

Quickstart for @monetzly/server-sdk: configuration reference, streaming and non-streaming integration, fail-open patterns and a launch checklist.

  • Added
    Blog

Six posts on AI monetization — per-conversation unit economics, in-conversation ad formats, disclosure and trust, fill rate, and a streaming integration walkthrough.

  • Added
    For advertisers

What the inventory is, how contextual matching works, the brand-safety controls on both sides, and who the format does not fit.

  • Added
    About, contact, changelog and status

Company pages with real destinations, plus this changelog and a public status page.

  • Fixed
    Dead footer links

Footer and navigation entries that pointed at '#' now resolve to real pages; the GitHub placeholder was removed rather than left pointing at a 404.

Brand, search and analytics

A redesigned marketing site on the new brand, plus the search and analytics plumbing behind it.

  • Added
    Google Analytics 4 alongside PostHog

GA4 runs next to the existing PostHog instrumentation, defaulting to the monetzly.com measurement ID.

  • Improved
    New Monetzly "Layer" mark

New brand mark and logo kit applied across the site, with an opaque brand favicon so search results render the logo on both light and dark rows.

  • Improved
    Landing page redesign

Full marketing redesign followed by a minimalist pass: monochrome palette, DM Sans, calmer hero, dashboard preview and per-page loaders.

  • Fixed
    Canonical host

Canonical URLs and JSON-LD @id values now agree on www.monetzly.com, so pages stop competing with themselves across hosts.

Programmatic SEO engine

The resource library that now sits behind the Resources menu: framework guides, comparisons, recipes, glossary and the revenue calculator.

  • Added
    Framework and comparison pages

Generated /monetize and /compare pages covering integration per framework and honest tradeoffs against other monetization models.

  • Added
    Recipe engine and glossary

Task-level /how-to recipes generated per framework, plus a /glossary of AI ad-monetization terms with DefinedTerm schema.

  • Added
    Revenue calculator

A free tool that models ads-versus-subscription revenue from your own traffic, session length and pricing assumptions.

Model upgrade

  • Improved
    Demo runs on gemini-3.1-flash-lite

The hosted demo assistant moved to a newer, cheaper model — faster first token at the same answer quality.

Security patch

  • Fixed
    React Server Components advisories

Patched the disclosed React Server Components vulnerabilities and updated the affected dependencies.

Experimental playground entry point

  • Added
    Experimental link in the hero

Direct access to the experimental chat playground from the homepage, alongside the waitlist call to action.

Ad delivery in the demo assistant

  • Added
    Ad fetching and in-message delivery

Contextual ad fetching wired into the demo chat, with placements delivered inside assistant messages.

Chat experience polish

  • Improved
Markdown and syntax highlighting in messages

Assistant responses render code blocks, lists and emphasis properly, which matters for placements that sit inside formatted answers.

  • Fixed
    Onboarding tour timing

The product tour now waits for the cookie banner to be dismissed before starting.

Analytics foundation

  • Added
    PostHog instrumentation

Product analytics across the app, including LLM call tracing on the chat endpoint.

  • Added
    Server-side signup capture

Experimental-access signups recorded server-side rather than in the browser.

First marketing site

  • Added
    Landing page and navigation

The original Monetzly marketing site: hero, features, integration, pricing and language support sections.
